People love their dads
But why is it that i hate you
Do you even know my birthday
Do you even have a clue

Its not enough that I love you
And its not enough that I care
And I can tell its not enough
By that distant stare you wear

The sun rises in the morning,
And the sky bursts open with light.
I*ll just lie here mourning
As all hope is out of sight

I just want to go home,
I want to go there
Where I was loved and cherished
To an extent I couldnt bare.

Im Cold and Im broken
Im Shaking on the floor
Crying hysterically
I dont care I can’t take it anymore

The racing thought, and the
Changing moods
The pain, and the cutting
It's not my fault, I don't choose

It's no longer a mystery
As I know whats going on
Why I'd feel like the sun
Inside of me it shone

I’m sorry I was born
I’m sorry I didn’t die
There and then when you gave birth to me
I’m sorry. You know why...

Ashes to ashes
Dust to dust
I've died and come back
Only to fail and crash into dust

Tell me why
I can’t let go
Tell me why
I love so

I don’t know why I bother
I don’t know why I try
I don’t know why I love you
So please tell me why

Youre forever drunk
I cant remember what you’re like when sober
Its April now dad you’ve been like this
Since October

When I sit under willow
I just can't help but think
Does this tree have feelings
Does it weep when I blink

I hates a myth a spirit
They say
But they havent met me
Who lives with him everyday

I cling to any warmness
I cling to any hope
As I hve to constantly carry around
This cold-heavy winter cloak

I got the phone call yesterday
It came as a real shock
As I was just doing my homework
Listening to that vexing tick tock

Is life worth living?
If youre not here to

Cos I question the fact that

Cupids arrows broken
So the love had flown away
It wasnt gonna last anyway
Well thats what you say

Sadness creeps up on you
Like the coldness in the night,
But when it gets too cold,
Happiness is out of sight!

Autumn leaves
Fall to the ground
Like baby horses
Prancing around

What A Great Dad! ! ! ! Not

People love their dads
But why is it that i hate you
Do you even know my birthday
Do you even have a clue
That I’d happily exchange you
If I had the chance
And sell you for free
Without a second glance
For the anger burning up inside of me
Is far to much to let be seen
As you are never here
And you can never stay clean
Daddy i loved you i really did
But why can’t you leave us alone
They treat you like a child
Just to keep you under control
The drinking the drugs
Make them someone else’s problem
Co’s im too young
And i just can’t control them
I hate you daddy
And why are you still here
I thought i made it clear
We don’t need you
We don’t want you
You made me cry
I wish you would die
And leave us alone to try to be happy
And try to wash out the stain you had left
