In A Mask Of Apathy
Sometimes I wonder how things seem to fade.
The sweetest of scent - frequent but fleeting,
A promise of hope that was never made.
So bitter sweet yet my heart still beating.
How can you wipe an intagible tear?
Of unfinished songs, leave you stumped and glued.
Of uncertainty; leaves you doubt and fear.
Leaving a picture of the heart she threw.
I've passed this curse to the undeserving.
To be left alone - idle and dying.
The flowers I picked - ended up wilting.
In the end I simply gave up trying.
Now I fear of things that no one can see.
