کیا سے کیا ہو گیا یہ دن
سر شام ہی سو گیا یہ دن
جانے کہاں کھو گیا یہ دن
کانوں میں اس کے کیا کہا
رات جیسا ہو گیا یہ دن
آئے اور چلے بھی گئے
آنکھیں بھگو گیا یہ دن
اتنا اچھا بھی نہ لگنا تھا
خوابوں میں کھو گیا یہ دن
چپکے چپکے یہ کیا کر دیا
کیا سے کیا ہو گیا یہ دن
What It Was And What It Is Now It’s just a dusk and slept the day Do not know where it has gone Something you whispered in the ears The day was changed into night Just now you came just now you went The day could only wet my eyes You shouldn’t have looked so appealing The day vanished in your dreams Silently you did something with the day What it has been and what it is now!
