030610 Girl By Vineyard

i'm looking
at the straightness of vineyard
few inches above my navel
no leaves, manicured branches
upright facing the fierceness of the sun
comb to the contour of the hill
bursting water sprinklers circling
capturing rainbow

dwarfing a weed remover
and lone beautiful flower
by the leaking water pipe
a little girl with her sombrero
waiting for signal to turn off the flow
she sits and reaches to kiss petals

and wind gushes exposing her face
to sunlight which spark glow on her hair
and sweet smile glitters from those teeth
