i was in the middle of a party
to pick up the house key
when they started talking about me
how i took the whole family to a cruise
not very long ago at chesapeake bay
on board the largest navy ship

i felt good, they do remember
even the movie they watch that day
the exhibition take off and landing
of hornets, awacs, helicopters
faster than sound fly-overs

but i felt sorry i can't stay
my daughter is waiting for me
i wish them whole night enjoyment
and i promise them another story
