honking geese glide to rest
skiing to water as they land
they quickly filled the pond
some settle on wet grass
flapping their wings to dry
maybe ritual to feed in mass
i watch them walk in twos
no honking, no fighting
they raise their heads
to see who's coming
if they know they keep on eating
sure, you can walk with them
one day i wear a caribbean hat
they won't let me closer than few yards
i could have feed them but against law
they want them to go home after snow
but some are smarter than we thought
they adapt, studied geography, stayed put

I would like to translate this poem
'i watch them walk in twos no honking, no fighting...' yep, true.
