i was sitting at restaurant
this sunny afternoon, eating
when i noticed office in front
is so quiet, i guess it's closing
nobody is buying a house?
or he finally quit, to save rent

money exchange is going strong
either payday or needy at other end
so as the travel agency also busy
preparation for incoming vacation
i'm wishing always to go far east
that's one full day trip, no rest

a gentle tap on my shoulder shatters
every fibers of my impending journey
i turn around, it's my barber friend
he got a break from snipping growth
we have bet, i took west virginia to win
he considers duke will, butler for game
