041810a I Dream Of You Poem by Manonton Dalan

041810a I Dream Of You

footsteps outside my door
dragging their feet on the floor
for a long nights nonstop work
i would be surely like them too
soft whispers i could barely hear
fading to; through thick metal wall

i could close my eyes beg sleep
but my body is all fired-up with
hazelnut drinks; i let it subside
dream of happy days i've been
i want to feel you; get closer
how could i; there's no signal here
