small boats bobbing with wishes of the sea
fishermen looking at us reeling their pole
some waving, some calling names, i wave
some stop whatever they’re doing to watch
one of the biggest ship and it’s really so pretty
floating city, we have airport by night and day

sailors in their finest white uniform stand erect
standing at attention as we pass another ship
they surround the whole flight deck at their best
these are your proud citizens serving the country
a helicopter hovering overhead relaying pictures
for morning news, great somebody is coming home
