042011g Going To Rest Like You

i feel like i'm only one left
sitting upright this moment
yes, it's deafening silence
creeping to my feet and up
owls could be hunting by now
forest floor will come alive

time would keep on going
as ships cruise overnight
you sleep through night
dreams could have shared
but i consume more oxygen
than most so i have to sleep
