042110a In Search Of Comfort

awakened by calmness of the night
cold creeping deep on my upper right
i’m not aware glass window is crack
i pulled my blanket but it ripped apart
it got caught by a nail of the bedpost
i should be mad i’m too sleepy to do that

i felt the draft teasing my bare feet
i looked up maybe it’s ceiling’s vent
i let it go and endure all night long
barely asleep my mind sing along
i’m trying to find to console my own
i end up thinking of you through dawn
