042611a Sudden Rain - Poem by Manonton Dalan

water is shoe deep
i'm flapping, walking
that funny sounds
squeeze, squeeze
threw away my socks
everything quiet down

shoes should go too
cheap glue came off
sole is open mouth
rain hasn't stop yet
i should have worn
my rubber boots
