have you notice sometimes
that people express their
anger towards somebody
who's not present, a fear
what would you do besides
listen to this tirade? mute

i was at listening end tonight
all i could say is 'i'm thinking'
somewhat baffled the subject
which leads to shift stories to
something happier in a sense
woo! i have my comforting day
