050910f Gambling On Flea Market

fog has joined the clouds
as i mingle with the crowds
a pretty girl selling rice cake
so sweet i could almost taste
so early to welcome a sugar
let me fill my eyes but my cup

kids congregate for morning quest
spider jostling on coconut leaf's rib
push and shove; bite and scratch
parachute with web when scared
or cocooned to tiny ball of feed
and owner concedes for small bet
