051011j Leave It To Science
centipede curling beneath leaf
startled by my intrusion crawls
shiny, colorful with those legs
i'm trying to count segments
but she's too fast to hide away
why did she leave not resist
hard skin or shell, protection
from what, might have mutated
from previous unique calamity
maybe radioactive flash from sky
hard to prove; could it be possible
like diamond formation, wondering
