052910d Squirrels Hold Their Food Poem by Manonton Dalan

052910d Squirrels Hold Their Food

two groups of squirrels came down
from their high perch looking busy
early in the morning what could it be
i'm looking for young ones; none
they have send signals to my mind
i open my bag and take out crackers

three came forward fearless standing
on their two legs as if puppies craving
to be pet; holding their food when eating
like children just learning to walk-eating
could have talked to their friends about me
because for every tree they are waiting
