062410c Her Feet On My Palm Poem by Manonton Dalan

062410c Her Feet On My Palm

i pet her feathers warmly
she looks; has some to say
i can sense but not completely
making sounds so alien to me
i put her on my shoulder
she loves picking on my ear

you know, when she does that
i touch her head, give her nut
those beaks so strong to crack
maybe happy for food, she fly
up in circles and then she come
i reach out and land on my palm
