18 Poem by Lara W.A

18

Rating: 4.0

18 isn’t a special number
18 is what I am today
18 isn’t what I intended to be
Cause 18 doesn’t make me anything different.

I’d rather be 3
So that I wouldn’t have to feel this way
I’m all left out
If I died today
They’ll be just glad.

I want a tiny bit of appreciations
To get rid of these isolations
Birthday presents and wishes just aren’t enough
To celebrate the day I turned 18.
