2018 Gone Poem by Ray Hansell

2018 Gone

Rating: 5.0

Another year has reached it's end
Was twenty eighteen foe or friend?

I think back to friends I lost
With heads bowed and heart crossed

How sad it is to see them go
But in my heart they left a glow

To family members who passed on
Memories of them will never be gone

To all the people who lost loved one's
Husbands, wife's, daughters and sons

They'll forever be your dearly departed
Remembering them, could get tears started

Losing a loved one is the hardest of all
On any day it will cast a pall

But still new years keep marching on
Even when other, lives are gone
