.3. Contented Poem by David Threadgold

.3. Contented

Rating: 5.0

I watched as you lay fast asleep
Contented and resting so well
Eyelids twitching as you dreamed
Of things you never do tell

Arms clasped around your old teddy
You cuddle him with such a delight
Dreaming of somebody else dear?
With arms wrapped around him so tight

Sometimes you give out a giggle
Like times when I've tickled your toes
I know when you're dreaming a nice dream
When you smile and just turn up your nose

I would be hugging you and not the Teddy if someone wrote me a poem like this! LOL Good one, Ten!
