I never intended to start a war
but you declared it when I corrected you
a misunderstanding blown out of proportion
becoming something much more serious
Troops on both sides were marching
with more reserves being mobilised
apparently your friends had formed an alliance
to reinforce your side if needed
Words were thrown like spears
and tears flowed like blood from a wound
I only sought to hold my ground
to repel your attacking lies
Eventually your depleted forces limped away
abandoning the dead and dying
leaving the clean up to everyone else
while you tried to mend your hurts
Maybe there will be no truce
as even now you refuse to admit your mistakes
I didn't want what happened to occur
even if we never speak again I want you to know
that I never meant to start a war

Becoming something much more serious is amazing. You believe in love. You try to solve misunderstanding. You never try to start a war. An amazing poem is very brilliantly penned...10
