913: I Want(I) Poem by Amit Biswas

I want to cross over to the other side,
They say, happiness takes you in its stride,
I want to jump that high wall, and
Enjoy all the good things that lie outside,
I want to join all my lost old friends,
And talk about the good times we shared,
I want to reach that land of peace,
Where there are no worries of any kind,
I want to rest in that peaceful sleep,
When no one would call me for an early rise.
