A Black Crow Poem by ANJANDEV ROY

A Black Crow

Rating: 5.0

It's spring,
The weather is fine,
The bright sun shines,
I begin to swing,
But a Black crow arrives
In front of me,
It tries to disturb me
With its dark and evil wings,
But I am firm and resolute
About my greatest intention,
I know I have to cross a long distance
To reach my all-important destination
Where the sacred poetry is eagerly waiting
To embrace me wholeheartedly,
So I close my eyes and meditate deeply
With true concentration and reverence,
Gradually the dark crow retreats and retreats,
Eventually I begin to smell the sweet fragrance
Of the holy and divine poetry everywhere in the air.

Through great determination, we would be able to achieve what we aimed in life. A well expressed and crafted poem.
