A Bright Shadow Poem by ANJANDEV ROY

The young traveller
Had travelled extensively,
He was extremely weary,
He took rest at an inn,
Suddenly someone knocked at the door,
The traveller listened to it
But didn't respond,
Thereafter the tired pilgrim fell asleep,
Then a bright shadow came in his dream and whispered to him,
'I came with a great news for you,
But you didn't open the door, '
Being anxious,
Soon the traveller woke up,
But it was too late.
