A Candlestick Poem by Sandra Martyres

A Candlestick

Rating: 5.0

A burning wick
A bright yellow flame
Flickering bright
A little candlestick
Helps to light up her life
Through the long and dark
Cold winter's night.

If Stephen's right, could be the norm... It's more than flame that keeps her warm.

An elusive poem. Much is said in a few words, but much has remain unsaid. Maybe that is what lends great quality to this poem.
