A Case Of Sexual Harassment And Murder In India Poem by Daya Nandan

Sexual harassment has become a common incidence around the world,
Recently, two men on motorbikes were sexually harassing a girl,
Verbal sexual harassment to both her and her elder sister,
With their filthy remarks that can easily give each ear a blister,

This is not the first incidence as these men often stalked them,
Police reports were made yet the authorities did not give a damn,
The girls resisted the sexual advancements of these evil scum,
Little did they know of the madness that was about to come,

The girls kept on resisting the sexual harassment under the sun,
But soon the younger girl met her end by one of the biker's gun,
She was shot dead, the life of the 14 year old was now gone,
Because of two foolish bikers who were seeking out some fun,

They bikers fled the scene, the elder sister made a police report,
In hopes that these sinners would be captured and taken to court,
The police searched and eventually captured those evil fools,
These shameless and cruel men that have broken the country rules,

Without guilt they have taken the life of an innocent girl,
Her life has ended and vanished, she has left this world,
Her parents are crying in depression, her sister is traumatized,
The police could have prevented this yet now they are surprised,

Every government should take measures to improve security,
To prevent incidents like this caused by some youths immaturity,
More police on watch, more security measures in place,
More measures of safety so that criminals dare not show their face!
