A Child's Prattle-2 Poem by Indira Renganathan

A Child's Prattle-2

Rating: 5.0

In the middle of night
You woke me up
'I want butter'you said
'At this hour? ' I asked

Tired out my groggy body yet
Lifted me and got your need
But you..flipped it off
To the ground that I skidded
Crying 'Krishnaaaaaa...'

Just then bedazzled
I felt a timely support
Was it you in dazzling blue?
I looked for the little boy
No, not found...
My dilemma..'was it real or a dream...? '

Nicely penned, they are innocent and probably unaware when to ask what. A nice way to put it across.

Generally a child wakes up at the middle of the night and calls her mother.Looking towards such a little boy you have brilliantly penned this interesting poem...10
