A Dangerous Place. Poem by Geoffrey Fafard

A Dangerous Place.

Rating: 5.0

There is a Place I know well
Where most are scared, saying"its hell…! ! "
I'll get eaten they say fearfully
Shivering as they say tearfully
Yep says me don't take that risk Blue
Cause‘ol mate needed here are you
———
But no drama to me it's a risk I'll take soon
Whilst whistling a tune under the moon
The big fish ran away with the spoon…
———
Happy to get dinner or be dinner
What the hell. At least I ‘ll be thinner…!

A Dangerous Place.

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
These days I take little but I cannot give up my beloved fishing
for the mystical Barramundi that taunt me and are such worthy adversaries
To even up the odds I fish super light tackle and venture into the home territory
Of the saurian ….!
