A Daydreamers Dream Poem by Craig Mize

A Daydreamers Dream

As we stare at the stars
Glitzing in the nights sky.
Passionately holding each other hands,
While daydreaming a daydreamers dream
I can't help but to wonder,
Do fantasies really come true
Or are they just that,
A wonderful dream that's not meant to be.
But for some reason this doesn't seem like that.
This is a dream that I can touch, that I can feel
As I hold your hand my soul warms,
The barrier that is blocking my heart
Is slowly being torn down
Your love is sneaking throw the cracks of my walls
This fantasy of mine about true love,
This wonderful dream is finally coming true.
And it's all because of you.
