Can you listen to me
Wherever you are,
I'm no more that lover
Whom you did love.
I'm laming, stumbling –
Crawling without you
I'm losing the urge
To live without you.
I'm floating in the waves
With pains and sorrows
I'm Getting swayed -
In the melancholy and morose.
I can see your desperate raising hands
But alas, in no ways I can reach you there.
What a hopeless tramp am I
Could not keep my priceless love
Holding by my side.

A Desperate Cry has reached me through your poem, I feel your heartache as you reach for your love, knowing there is nothing I can do except BE here for you. It is not easy to live without the love of your life and I know she was yours. Keep your memories close, Amitava - they are your treasures, because that is where your love is. Thank your for sharing your intense feelings, may you find peace in this poetical world. RoseAnn
So much heartache in these words. Sadly we live, we love, we lose but me must repair and move on. As we know time is the biggest healer. Take good care
Regrets of life r usually more heartbreaking than any physical accidents...nice poem of this pathos......second chances r very rare i suppose.....
