A Drop! - Poem by Deepti Agarwal

A Drop rolled down
crystal clear, Salty....

Gone are the days
the birds sang,
butterflies fluttered...

Gone are the days
rain drops danced,
the trees swayed...

Its all gloomy and dark
trees, &
all are gone.

The dropp is still fresh and salty.

deep and moving. when strong people break into tears, they are overwhelmed with many things apart from what they actual reason that makes them cry.10/10 realistic work. (Report) Reply

Poem is nice as usual but don't mind it, a proof-reader's eyes never miss out any spelling mistakes. A 'p'is extra in 'dropp 'at the very end. Hope you are not angry. Thnx 4 the poem again. Keep smiling. LOL (Report) Reply

the mood of sadness well captured, but God has made man so resilient that we snap out of our sad moments with time. (Report) Reply

    Never worry about salty drops
Its just purifier for your eyes
When the eyes get clear vision
You can see things in black and white
    Leave the black behind
    Go for the white ahead
    Ohh… it’s a wonderland we are in
At any ant age, any cost, at any Drop
We can’t stop enjoying this life.

    Hai na bolo bolo...? ?

birds and butterflies are still around.

time when bedazzled by the love
yet the crooning by the history
eyes when steeped in tears by the shadow
dew seems to be befuddled by the sun
rain yet drops blazing the glory of love....................yet wistful as hurtful, well penned,10/10, thanks for sharing

a longing for past can clearly be felt here.I have also mourned for past in my poem 'yearning for bygone days'.But we shade tears for that thing which we can never get back in our life. Its better to forget past and look for present. so we should enjoy every moment. nicely done. (Report) Reply
