A Dying Prophecy - For Nostradamus Poem by Richard Wlodarski

A Dying Prophecy - For Nostradamus

Rating: 5.0

The twin year
Has now arrived
The queen has risen
From her dying sleep
And has kissed mankind
Her breath from the east
Suffocating world
While children dreamed
Nightmares invaded
Country with seven hills
The Pope felt so helpless
The Devil so damn strong
As she stole all those lives
She tried to destroy world
Mankind's faith now tested
Cleansed her of her damn sin
And reversed prophesy
Nostradamus now sleeps

Recipes for the future? Something in your verse reminded me that Nostradamus also wrote cookbooks....or, what we might today label as such. Fantastic verse, Richard! To myfavourites.
