A Firefly's View - Micropoetry

Rating: 4.5

#Micropoetry
Wavering panes of light
Reflected on sleepy lakes face
Darkened cushion of water
Gently rocking huddle of boats
To clanging bells of a temple
Prepping the Gods for the night rest
by the discarded lights
Flickering from lone street lamps
On a deserted lake bank
Seen in the drop of a moment
Seeking a haven to rest
By the telescoping eyes
Of a firefly desperately hurtling
Down the man-made bridge
Arching over the lakes yawning belly.

Thank you Kumarmaniji. Micor poetry is the easiest to type out on mobile while commuting.. lest I forget the words by the time I reach home.
