A Folk Song Of Garhwal-1 - Poem by Sunil Uniyal

I've left my father's home
I am now in an alien land

Married off beyond four mountains
How can I see my mother's home?

You will have itching in your feet
And in your throat hiccups, Mama

Kissing both your hands together
Won't you remember me, Mama?
