A Great Man Poem by Richard Wlodarski

A Great Man

Rating: 5.0

He's a great man
The president
Neither racist
Nor pacifist
He's truly a patriot
And not a damn hypocrite
Sure he didn't serve in war
More than evened the lost score
A hero in social media
A scoundrel with the goddam fake news
Orange colour of pumpkin
He's seen as the damn bumpkin
Trying to build new Berlin Wall
Boost his ego make them so small
Just make America great again
So he doesn't take the last damned train

I wish my brother, and my cousin, Norman would read this and see that Trump was awful. Bravo!

I fear his influence with certain population groups might put an end to democracy. I pray for Biden every day. You are so lucky. PH has posted only 2 of my last 7 poems in the New Poems List on the Home Page. I no longer get notifications of any comments on my poems. I think PH is trying to cold shoulder me out of PH. I have no idea why. Sigh. I will miss you and a dozen or two other PH members if they drop me. Top marks for your sarcasm!
