A Letter To Life Poem by Aminat Opatola

Dear life,
i found thy path adorable and toneless,
so blent in the powers
of exuberance and sadness,
a path full of unending quests, unfolding fortune with untainted
faiths,
keeping nigh to the chest like a moon in the spacious sky,
glittering through in hungering lips and sometimes in
beautiful sigh,
o life wrapped along with divergent faith, .....

this face has left me
with an acheing feet,
never knew thee will
exist always till the end of eternal time,
chance this heart to glind beautifully in this hour, , her hour of golden prime.
Like the setting sun bless me down within this heavy breast with
light hearted prayers,
unfurl my faith with undefiled valours,
lightening this path i walk with visions of
perfect wonders,
o send forth such ravishing realm full of
beautiful lily flowers,
granting such greatness with lots of
perfect wishes,
and casting out emptiness with thy magic ward in
every cirled inches.

o life,
blessed life with beautiful secrets of
astonishment,
i penned thee with great desire cascading
through in so much amazement,
with such difference
i lament beyond this walls,
this lonely path engrieved with black spots and holes,
must i wait, i cannot wait in desolate,
send meadows after rain washing this shattered heart from
pains,
from this pains i ate,
and pray thus setting this spirit free,
making my heart throned above the waves of a beautiful sea,
spare a little heart the pains it cant withstand with just breath,
hold up and give chances spread out in thy claws, thy shield of plain founded joy..
And thy earthly Peace staying closer to the heart like tiny stars glued to the endless skies,
o dear life, with so much faith i penned.
