As earth hardens as winter arrives
A grey spillage stains the skies.
As hearts harden when love dies
A dark longing fills our heavy eyes.
As time trawls down its endless path
We wait for the return of the missing half
As pains soften and seep into memory
The tortured captive heart is set free.
This is quite astounding. Such beautiful words in eight glorious lines. A delight to read. Thank you, Love Ernestine XXX

More hopeful than lament. Soothing. Reassuring. Very nice. -T. Bell
