A Little Bit Of Soap Poem by Richard Wlodarski

A Little Bit Of Soap

Rating: 5.0

A little bit of soap
On your such grubby hands
When COVID-19 lands
Will help you to cope

A little bit of soap
Will wash away tears
And some of your fears
Because you're not a dope

A little bit of soap
And little warm water
Is not such a bother
For one who's not a mope

A little bit of soap
Or hand sanitizer
Makes Trump's deodorizer
Grope its way along tight rope

A little bit of soap
And social distancing
Will wash out this damn sting
Bring end to cope with hope

This is tremendous, Richard. The issue is so serious, but the levity communicates the point so well. I can't help but find a place for the last line of the second stanza in the fourth. This one goes to myfavourites.
