A Longing For Long Blankness Poem by Narayanan Ramakrishnan

A Longing For Long Blankness

Rating: 5.0

A great feeling is blankness;
It is for this we strive in its fullness,
Blankness is when we reach the pinnacle
Eyes so closed, everything blanked for seconds.

What is this feling, I am at a loss to know
For it lasts not long, too short, but we desire it to be slow.
You can name it easily, but can't enjoy eyes up blown;
Somehow, we close all shutters for seconds of glow.

Eyes go blind, ears but deaf, suuroundings sense lost,
When we reach the height in all silence that tallest post.
That is where I thank only one; none but God
For he granted us many ways to indulge in this
sojourn, so soft.

Friend, how how wisely you gave shape to the blankness of mind by extending its horizon towards the Almighty God who inspired all of us to sail in this journey of life. Nice theme.

great one, written so elegantly! I try to find a reason for blankness. If somebody avoid us we hurts, if somebody care us, we felt very happy . If nobody care us or nobody avoid us then we felt blankness. Am i right? your work is really thought provoking! happy to read this! ! !
