A Mere Thought Left Upon A Table Of Sorrow Poem by RoseAnn V. Shawiak

A Mere Thought Left Upon A Table Of Sorrow

Tempos taking over in a song, teasing, taunting, tracing memories over and through the past and on into the present or future.

Calmly implied in lines of poetry, giving up places within, expressing melodies that've begun to receive memories, wanting to be remembered in this long and tiring life.

A life that somehow always ends in passageways that end too soon, looking suddenly as there seems to be nothing left in this melody of what life was all about.

Never finding a place where life was taken down, now just a mere thought left upon a table of sorrow, a napkin left there to wipe away the tears.
