Here
Hidden
A mermaid
Tremblingly
Terrified of
Stranger dark
Against the sky
Hiding her sun
Contemplatingly
Looks into her
Mirroring eyes
Seagreen as
Seagrasses
Shimmering
Sloshing
Silvery
Scaly

A Mermaid

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
When shackled by commitments in the real world, you can escape to the seaside - for real or just in your mind. You'll find a welcome place where the pace is surreal, fishes don't ask what's your job position, how big is your house or whether you have money in the bank. They just swim with you or past you, giving you the company or the space that you need.

Doris, I noticed that your poem has a shape of letter “D”, the first letter of your name. It is a masterpiece of art in a form of a lovely concrete poem. Fantastic imagination and composition! Thanks for sharing.10+++

Surreal yet expressive of deep emotions of fear and uncertainty in the search for meaning.
