Night, like a dark angel
Spreads its shroud over the lands
Half smiling at the horizon
Holding the moon as a lamp in her hands
Night, like a new bride, tired,
Sleeps in peace across the lands
Dreaming about love and peace
With millions of stars shining in her hands
Night, a silent worshiper,
Chants from trees and fine sands
It runs to catch up the morn with
Fragrance of white flowers in her hands
Beautiful description of night! Fascinating second stanza! Loved reading it..10
