A Noisy Wave Poem by ANJANDEV ROY

In the calm and tranquil night......
I felt silence
Absolutely different silence
In my mind,
Outwardly complete silence
Suffused me,
But I sensed a noisy wave
Very deep within,
For this I couldn't sleep whole night,
This had never happened to me before,
Then at dawn......
I heard a deeply agonizing cry from within
Which pierced the silent ambience of the outer world,
The cry demanded,
'You have to accomplish the sacred work for mankind.'
