A Place For Myself Poem by Nidhi Agrawal

A Place For Myself

Rating: 5.0

If I had a small cottage all to myself
I'd fill it with books to my heart's content
If I had a garden with sunshine and grass
I'd fill each corner with the
prettiest flowers.
If I had a terrace wide open with chairs
I'd sit there quietly and watch the rain.
If I had a kitchen bare and clean
I'd spend my time with coffee and tea.
If I had a backyard with a sturdy tree
I'd hang a feeder for the birds and bees.
If I had some place just for me
My heart would spend it's days in peace.
