On a well-known web-site I recall,
A poet, nigh bloated, thought him tall
When he got ten of ten,
Felt too proud of his pen,
Came when fall, came the sense he was small.

YOU POINT WELLL AT ROSES WHO LIKE YOU ARE NOT TALL ONCE IN A WAY WE ALL FALL DIDN'T YOU AP SIR
You're reading too much into it, I think. But your point is taken: Once in a way we all fall. But I never read too much into most ten given, because ten is the norm here, and so it means not much. At our age, we should enjoy our second childhood, which means: not taking things unduly seriously.
The highs and lows of a Poet. A funny write with great rhyme. Cleverly written limerick.
Thanks for this one as well. You're absolutely right. Even a great poet has his lows at times.
Brilliantly penned about poet and his pen. The proud of the poet is well executed. A fine Limerick. Thanks for sharing.
An amazing Limerick with beautiful rhythm and rhyme... thanks dear sir for sharing....10
I was not sure about this one, for, I thought poets here are a tad sensitive about such humour. Thank you so much for the good words dear poet/reader.
