A Quiet Evening With My Lady - Poem by Michael P. McParland
As I am about to finish my dinner up sweet one
I am going to sit back and start a movie afterward
and I wish you could be here to wrap you up in my robe
and have you curl up in my arms to spend
a quiet evening holding each other feeling comforted
as we watch the film in peaceful quiet around us.
A quiet evening with Kira my lady is what I so want
to help soothe both of our aching hearts.
I am hurting quite bad and feeling so very sad
as I long for my lady Kira my Angel.
I so wish you were here to hold close to me
as we watched a movie on this quiet evening just you and me.
I want to have you close as we spend this evening
in each others arms and share some sweet kisses
throughout the movie.
A movie where we can laugh together and one
with good thought that we could discuss afterwards,
it doesn't matter what type of film you have picked
because I would be spending time with you
and we always found something to talk over.
I miss you sweet Kira and wish you were here
to spend a great evening snuggling so tightly together.
I will be sending you all of my warmth and love
along with sweet kisses and hugs straight from my soul and heart,
I am so longing for you and just want to be with you
holding you my sweet Queen and Angel ever so close.
I really am aching and crave your sweet and soft touch
and want to share with you my entire world and life,
as well as getting to know my hero and true love
Kira in every way that there is listening
intently to you Angelic voice and holding you so very close.
I love you my baby and am dying to be with you
on a serene and loving quiet evening.
I love you sweet Kira and am right there beside you
holding you ever so tightly in spirit
letting you know you're not alone and I will
stand by you through all eternity as your ever loving Michael.
