A Restful Sleep Poem by Jayne Louise Davies

A Restful Sleep

Rating: 5.0

I've finally accepted,
You're never coming back,
Those many tears I cried for you,
Made no difference at all,
For it is what it is,
Now the tears cease to fall.
That realisation hit me to the core,
No more will I see you,
Right there by your door.
And i do still believe,
That you're up there somewhere,
I go to sleep to dream,
Of seeing you,
In your garden so fair.
That is the place,
Where you found so much peace,
Heaven is the place,
Where you now rest in sleep.

And Heaven is the most beautiful garden of all! May you feel that peace in your dreams, Jayne.

It is difficult Jayne, We both knew Tina would die first with all her medical problems and she said I should find someone new.

I buried Tina twice, once when she died and once when I let her go from my heart and carried on with the rest of my life
