A Smile From Buddha Poem by Mehta Hasmukh Amathaal

A Smile From Buddha

Rating: 3.8

Did Buddha smile on that day?
What did it mean to say?
Was it code word for communication?
Was it giving any suspicion or indication?

It was supposed to be glorious moment
There was going on some movement
The nation was expecting adverse comments
Some malicious propaganda was on and trouble fomented

It was day for national celebration
The world was amused with clear vibration
It was leap forward in the filed of atomic age
Nation was in advantageous position o manage

Long veil of secrecy was to be maintained
The enemy states were to be contained
So many states moved the resolutions
It was move to halt the race without any solutions

Finally Buddha smile on sound note
It had nothing to worry about move to vote
The atomic bomb was successfully detonated
The resolution for emerging as strong nation was indicated

Any nation going for it must have clear history
It need not act as bullying force to add misery
It must be used for peaceful purposes
All fears may allayed and disposed

Why so much discrimination in field of technology?
Why unnecessary cry over issue and raise the bogey?
It is self containment and not meant to act as bullying force
The nation must feel proud of its being in the due course

Why it needs special mention here?
The technology is most dreaded anywhere
If it falls in the hands of undesired elements
It may prove futile for relation o build or cement

The consequences may prove disastrous
The threat may emanate and stay continuous
It is maturity of any nation that stands well
It may vitiate the congenial atmosphere and nothing more to tell

One Buddha is not enough to set right this world. How can Buddha smile at the violence spread everywhere?

Oppression for the denizens of the eastern countries. This poem has its plot, but some stanzas are choppy and can be refined. Other than that continue writing.
