From the Ivy Leaf walls of Harvard and Yale'
From washington State and Fort Lauderdale
From New York City and Dallas too
And along the rail to Kalamazoo
May all my friends from across the pond
From Oklahoma and the Far West beyond
Put on the glad rags and really hold sway
On this day of all days...
Independence Day
July first was Canada Day and the Bluejays whupped Kansas City Royals
