A Special Lamp

A beautiful lamp
Sits on my desk.
It holds precious memories.
I handle it gingerly—
That it might last.
My friend gave it to me.
It’s one of the few tokens
I have of her memory.
Its 'light' reminds of her life,
Which always burned bright.
What an example she was
To those who were fortunate
To know her.

What a beautiful metaphorical write. Your
dear friend will shine in your memory
time out of mind.10, for you.

    Kind wishes,

    Sandra
